I should have read the little marks on Booking.com about cleaning the car, more carefully. At the pick-up, they gave me the option to pay in advance for the cleaning of the car for the price of 18€. I reluctantly chose to do that, because I was surprised with this question. When I dropped the car at the rental, the car was not that dirty, but I now realize that they would charge me for cleaning the car, at a higher cost if I hadn 't choose to pay 18€. That car would be OK at any other rental company. So the extra charge of 18€ looks like a scam to me, because never I was asked to pay for the cleaning at any other company.

All fine.. till the first car after two days refused to start. We lost nearly a complete day of vacation as it took 8hrs before we received a new car. When we returned it a the car terminal in Sofia on 11/05 we were falsely accused we filled the initial car with diesel. We want our deposit to be released.

Waiting time for the documents. Request payment of the whole renting but already paid to Tui.
Asking payment for the seat for children= ok
Request payment for the insurance => payment done... after that coming with extra payment for the insurance it seems... mistake in the cal ulation

1 big problem. I had a full insurance contract with rentalcars.com. The pick-up guy said that Top rent a car has nothing to do with it and that, in case of damage, I would have to pay first to Top rent a car, and to get my monay back, ask to rentalcars. This is NOT GOOD AT ALL. Sorry I felt cheated. YOU SHOULD SOLVE THIS WITH rentalcars.com

The reception is correct and efficient, the only weak point: the distance between the airport and the parking of the rental cars
At the drop-off we see a very fine line on the left flank which in my eyes is due to a rubber-like element that would touch the vehicle. Probably in a parking . A stroke of polish and would be gone. The manager did not want to hear and charged € 100 for the repair. This stinks the scam.
