If you're planning to travel long distances, I highly recommend opting for a larger car. A bigger vehicle will offer more comfort, space, and stability, especially on highways or longer journeys. However, if your trip is mainly centered around staying within the capital or busy city areas, a smaller car would be a better choice. Not only will you save money on fuel, but smaller cars are also easier to park in tight spaces, which is a huge advantage in busy areas.

This was my first time renting with Top Rent-a-car. Honestly, I was a little nervous, because the prices were so much cheaper than anywhere else. We rented for a month while in Bulgaria. We were given a fairly new Clio which was perfect for our needs. Initially we rented from the office near the airport - but the airport agent saw my wife had a cane and had the car brought to us for no additional cost. This made a huge impression on us, that they would think of this and shows good customer service.
For drop off - the airport renovations made it a little difficult to figure out where the car park was. But we found it, and I was expecting a big hassle (considering the low cost of the rental). Svetoslav went, checked the car and was back in 5 minutes. I was prepared for him to find all kinds of problems. Instead, he thank me for taking good care of the car and returning it clean!
I was 100% impressed with my rental and the agents I dealt with. I would recommend it's made clearer that foreigners should have an international license (it's on the website, but it could be more obvious). I'll definitely rent from this company during our next visit.

Next time, i will go for the car with all the advertising! It's a little cheaper, and the stickers might hide some door dings (haha)
