When we took the car, Kristian signed us for things that seemed unnecessary.
But mostly he didn't say and didn't mention at any point that when returning a car late at night, you have to pay an additional fee.
We only realized this when returning the car when Pavel ask for a payment of 25€ for returning it late at night.
It should be noted that this payment was also not mentioned in the registration of the car booking on the Rental Cars website.
It really disappointed us, even though it's a relatively small amount, it felt like a steal.

Didn't say all the things related to the return.
He charged us an amount that we did not know in advance. This is after one customer before us argued not to pay and did not pay in the end. And Pavel told us that they paid the amount in advance, finally it turned out to be a complete lie!

вы мошенники и воры! я снял у вас джип 4*4 и когда пробил колесо на дороге на второй день аренды вы отказазали мне в оплате эвакуатора. я заплатил 200 долларов своих денег за эвакуатор.у меня полное покрытие. вы мне не вернули депозит и дополнительно сняли с моей карточки без разрешения 2500 долларов. вы воры. я везде буду писать о вашей фирме и верну свои деньги!

я даже не видел сотрудника после того как эвакуатор забрал машину. я сам платил за эвакуатор. я ждал новую машину до 12 часов следующего дня но мне ничего не присали и даже не сообщили и дополнительно без моего разрешения сняли еще с карточки 2500 долларов! я всем посоветую не пользоваться вашей мошенической и воровской конторы!

They charged us 50 Euro for some minuscule marks on the side of the car. Over promised and under deliver

The call center service was awful. Not a single effort to help with my inquiry.
Hidden charges which were not told up front (cross border) which cost me also an additional night stay in Sofia.
Had to drive 600 km to extend deposit.
Never again.

For TopRent-A-Car being the biggest rent-a-car company in Bulgaria, their service is extremely poor:
1. they require your personal data sent in an email format without any security 3 days before the rental, otherwise you won't get the car. All 3 of their agents refused to work with me on securing my documents.
2. I was given a Hotspot (biskvidka) as per my request for a wifi in the car on my way to Greece. Only when I got back I was told - "it only works in Bulgaria". I'm still waiting for a refund ....
3. They are NOT FLEXIBLE in case you are late by a couple of hours. You will pay dearly and may have to do more paperwork while driving
4. Watch out for traces of sand on the floor when you return the car! The fine is 70 Euro, in case you missed to read the fine print! No other car company charges a cleaning fee, but this one sure does!

Failed to inform me about:
- when taking a car outside of the country, the wifi will not work;
- about the lack of a grace time during drop-off (companies like Moto Pfohe offer up to 1.5 hrs grace and are happy to announce it ahead of time)
- about the fine print re. cleaning charges on return
Was following the outrageous company policy, but was able to clarify the lack of wifi service and offered refund that I haven't received 3 weeks later. He identified the beach sand in the car and charged me the 70 Euro cleaning scam. On the bright side, he forgave me the 36 Euro for 1 hr late arrival fee. The hour that I spent trying to find their drop off office.

The car was fine for a hybrid.
I requested a 5 seater, while using one of the seats for a baby seat, which squeezed the other 2 seats into just 1 comfortable seat. I guess that is standard for a sedan.

Alquilamos el coche 48 horas y nos cobraron 72 horas.
El coche lo tuvimos 48 horas, el día que nos cobraron de más tampoco nos dieron las llaves aunque lo habíamos pagado.
Esta valoración está pendiente de la reclamación por el día adicional que hemos presentado.

Tenia mucha gente, esto motivó que tardará en darnos el coche y cuando lo hizo se equivocó y tuvimos que hacer los papeles de nuevo, eso provocó que saliéramos alrededor de las 11pm

Because of a very hidden scratch found somewhere underneath the front of the car we've been charged 220 Euro. No proof has been provided to make sure that the scratch wasn't already there before our rent. Definitely our first and last time with Top rent-a-car.
